Smith Point Sea Rescue, Inc. welcomes you to the home page of the Reedville Bluefish Derby. This tournament is hosted in the hopes that participants will see just how great the fishing is in the Reedville area, and return often. The Reedville Bluefish Derby is an annual fishing tournament designed to help fund the good work of Smith Point Sea Rescue. First prizes for largest bluefish and largest rockfish are $5,000. Several new prizes are in the works. The 24th annual Reedville Bluefish Derby will be held on June 8th and 9th, 2007. For more information please call Jett's Hardware at 804-453-5325 or click here. Smith Point Sea Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer sea rescue service which covers the middle Chesapeake Bay between the Potomac River and the Rappahannock River. All members are volunteers.
